Spoiling our self with a great dinner

Fabri About Life, About Spain

Over this article I’m gonna talk about our food experience in the restaurant Succulent in Barcelona. Location we decided to celebrate our anniversary.

Since we arrived in Barcelona in the beginning of the Pandemic in 2020, we never had a chance to try some of the fine restaurant here in Barcelona, and with our anniversary we decided to spoiling our self with a great dinner.

Ohh yeah Baby, sometimes you want to spice things up.

Eva and I have been together since looooong time and yesterday on the occasion of our anniversary, we wanted to spoil ourselves with a fancy dinner.

We had dinner at the SUCCULENT Restaurant, here in Barcelona.

Couple life

Let’s be honest, routine is good for a lot of things like learning, saving money etc…but sometimes it is good to spoil yourself.

Otherwise what are we working for?

Usually when we go out for dinner we hit restaurants like italian, asian or sea food based.

Following the recommendation of my friend Giuseppe, we went to try the Succulent set menu.

As they describe it, a journey through their menu.

The location

Here the link for the Restaurant SUCCULENT

The location of the Succulent restaurant is in Barcelona, on the Rambla del Raval.

The place is casual and their staff speaks English as well.

The menu

You can either decide between the 9 course meal or the 14 course meal.

Is not about quantity, but quality.

We tried 14, I said FOURTEEN different dishes and they were all good!

Overall

The small portions gave us the opportunity to eat all the dishes, even the strongest one like the Japanese Mushroom.

MAI TAKE

Some dishes were just enough, like if there was more on the plate I would have probably left it some.

Personally I think it was good to try different food, and I never felt the flavor was too strong in any of the dishes.

Like the lobster to eat on a crispy piece of chicken skin… that was veeeeery weird flavor.

This one above is the Stake Tartare over a bone, their signature dish.

Eva told me that in Taiwan they even eat what’s inside the bone!!!

uuuuuuuuuuu

And she did it!!!

and last but not least my 2 favorites: the desserts.

It was time for us to finally Spoiling our self with a great dinner. Even though I was not drinking alcohol, I still had a great time seen Eva slowly getting tipsy.

Drinking 2 glasses of red wine all by her self.
