Hello there

I tried to keep my story essential so if you are more interested in any of the topics just search it on the website and translate it with Google. Until 2020 all the articles were written in Italian but now I’m steppin up for a new challenge and I’ll balance it with English. ( and maybe one day in Spanish?!?!)

BACK IN 2012

---

Back in 2012 the original idea behind The Faber Post (at the time FaberBlog), was to keep track of my adventures in Australia in order to update my family and close friends back in Italy. You know “Hey guys, I am alive!!!”

I decided to go to Australia because I needed a change in my life. Back in Milan I struggled with my studies and my family, and I got into a vortex of poisonous thought that couldn't end nicely. In other words, I wasn’t happy.

AUSTRALIA
---

I went by myself to Australia without English or a proper job so I had to climb the stairs step by step. I started as a kitchen hand in a restaurant in Sydney, then I did farm work in the countryside and I ended up as a tour guide at the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park (that big red rock in the middle of Australian Desert).

A million experiences that I will never forget and if interested, you can dig into my older post to understand that it wasn’t always nice and easy living on the other side of the world. That said, I loved it every single minute.

EUROPE
---

Back in Europe I knew that my time was limited in Italy and eventually I became European Tour Manager. I got proper training and a job for 4 years where I led groups of international teens 18-35yo across Europe from 7 day trips to a max of 46days. Yes, we travelled everywhere.

At the same time I lived with Eva, my life partner, in Dublin/Ireland and Manchester/Uk, until 2020 when we decided to take another challenge and move together to Barcelona,Spain.

NOWDAYS

---

As you can see the travel industry seems to chase me, that's why we moved to a very touristy city because one day I want to run my own tour and maybe one day my own tour company… but welcome to 2020 and welcome to reality post Covid-19.

Anyway thanks to read my story,

With love

Fabrizio
