How I feel after Dry November

Fabri About Life, About Spain

In this article I will talk about how I feel after Dry November. During this month I’ve avoided drinking ANY Alcoholic drink.

Was it hard?

No

This is the first thing you need to know, and honestly, I could have gone for a while without it.

The Fiestas ?

The parties became weird and somehow boring after a while, as I mentioned in my previous article.

Honestly, you don’t have much in common with these strangers, you become best friends just for the night?

Here is a Link to a weird situation at a party without drinks!

Catch up ?

Those beers after work, or just a beer to catch up, they are fine!

You appreciate sitting down with a person and getting to know it better, under a different side of the traditional work experience.

If you make it clear that you don’t drink, people shouldn’t stress you about it.

Why did I do it?

Because I know December ( Christmas parties, Christmas, NYE, and more..) it’s gonna be a challenging month.

To see if I can do it?

Yes I can do it.

Do I feel better?

I don’t feel any different, I just really liked the idea of waking up on a Saturday morning or Sunday morning FRESH !

And I think I lost some weight.

Dry November Overall

For me, it was a walk in the park: very easy.

There were only a couple of times where I thought that “I really want to have a cold beer”.

Like at the end of a fire sale day like Black Friday and during a BBQ with friends.

But with my lifestyle, I think it’s easier. Also remember I’ve been sick for almost 2 weeks.

I think if I was in another different situation, like hanging out with more friends, trying to get to know more people… well in that case I guess it’s harder!

Let’s say with my lifestyle it was easy to avoid Alcohol for 1 month.

Here is where I got my ideas.

Christmas here we come!
