A flatmate tested positive for Coronavirus.

Fabri About Life, About Spain, sbatti

Hola beautiful people, in this post I will talk about a flatmate tested positive for Coronavirus.

Are we going back to lock-down?

Here in Europe, Germany, UK, France, and Spain are back to Lock-down. Or at least a light lock-down.

This is because the virus is spreading and infected people are increasing day by day.

Tourism and Hospitality are dead since March and, besides a light spike in August, the next tourism season it doesn’t look too promising.

There are a lot of protests here in Barcelona because restaurants, bars, and business owners feel restricted by the law.

In my mind I am thinking: are they trying to save Christmas ?

Preventing the spread of the pandemic during October and November to assure you a Christmas at home with your family? Free to travel at home, free to do your shopping and Christmas dinner? Why not…

Here a website that we check everyday.

Lately the situation in Barcelona is:
  • Restaurants and bars are now shut but open only to take away.
  • You can go outside and practice sports activity.
  • No gathering of more than 6 people
  • During the weekend you can’t move outside of your
    city of residence.

A sort of lock-down, but lighter.

Good news from one of us.

Eva’s about to start working finally and on Monday!!! From March to November, incredible!

If I knew it in March, when we moved in, I would think that you are completely crazy. But a lot of shit happened this year, isn’t it?

She supposed to have her first day but, recent news, somebody tested positive for coronavirus in her office so she will start from home.

Here a flatmate tested positive for coronavirus

After the initial panic, we started to study how we can deal with this problem.

In my mind is like: wwwhhhyyyyyyy fv3487fh349cn3498cn34987fh3

But first of all let me draw you the layout of the house: myself and Eva in a room with a private bathroom, Jerome or J a French guy in a room, and Felipe the Colombian in his room. J and Felipe share the same bathroom. All of us share the same kitchen.

Felipe now is in quarantine, because he tested positive. We all need to be tested and can’t go outside otherwise.

The plan
  • First of all, he’s in quarantine in his room. He’s coming out only when he needs to use the bathroom and to cook.
  • When he’s outside his room, he’s wearing a mask and wearing gloves, and we are close in our room. We have to limit the interaction.
  • We are all wearing musk and gloves.
  • Daily cleaning the house, and making sure that Felipe has everything needed.
  • We organized a shelf for himself in the kitchen, where he can leave his plate, glass, fork, and whatever he’s using for cooking.

These days he looks like is getting worst, and honestly, I don’t know what else to do other than make sure that he has everything he needs.

Today he tried the oxygen in his blood and it’s good: 96/100. Apparently, it should not go lower than 90.

It a particular situation for everyone, something that I’ve never thought I am going to live with.

Let me know if you have any comments or suggestions because we are just following our instigate.

Here my first post when Coronavirus just started.
